Maternity Leave
Enhanced pay if you’ve been with us for at least 1 year:
16 weeks at full pay
8 weeks at half pay
15 weeks at statutory maternity pay (if eligible)
Up to 52 weeks leave in total (26 weeks ordinary + 26 weeks additional).
Notice: let us know by the 15th week before your baby is due and provide your MATB1.
KIT days: up to 10 paid days, voluntary.
Holiday accrues as normal.
Pension and benefits continue while on paid leave.
Right to return to the same or suitable role.

Paternity / New Parent Leave
We believe partners need time to bond, support, and adjust just as much as birth parents.
Enhanced pay if you’ve been with us for at least 1 year:
12 weeks at full pay
Leave must be taken within the first 12 months after your child’s birth or adoption.
Notice: please let us know by the 15th week before the baby is due (or within 7 days of being matched for adoption).
You’re entitled to take reasonable time off to attend antenatal or adoption appointments.
Holiday accrues as normal during paternity leave.

You’ll return to the same job after paternity leave.

Adopting a child is just as important as giving birth, so our adoption leave matches maternity leave.
Enhanced pay if you’ve been with us for at least 1 year:

Up to 52 weeks leave in total (26 weeks ordinary + 26 weeks additional).
You’ll need to provide your matching certificate from your adoption agency.

Shared Parental Leave (SPL)
We know every family is different. Shared Parental Leave allows you to split childcare in a way that suits you.
Parents can share up to 50 weeks of leave and 37 weeks of pay.
Our enhanced pay mirrors our maternity/adoption package if you’ve been with us for at least
1 year:
16 weeks at full pay
8 weeks at half pay
15 weeks at statutory pay (if eligible)
Leave can be taken in blocks or all at once, and can be shared between both parents.
Notice: you must give us at least 8 weeks’ notice to book SPL, and we’ll work together to make it fit with the business needs.

You’ll return to your role (or a suitable alternative) after SPL.
Compassionate Leave
Sometimes, life throws unexpected challenges our way. If you need time off to care for or support a loved one during a serious situation, we’ll work with you to find the best solution.
We’ll look at each case individually, and leave may be paid or unpaid depending on the circumstances.
Please talk to your manager as soon as you can, so we can help.
Holiday accrues as normal during any period of paid compassionate leave.
Bereavement Leave
Losing someone close — whether family, friend, or partner — is incredibly hard. We want you to take the time you need to grieve and make arrangements.
You can take up to 5 days’ bereavement leave if you lose a family member, friend, or loved one.
If you lose a child under 18 (or experience a stillbirth after 24 weeks), you are entitled to 2 weeks’ statutory parental bereavement leave (with pay if eligible).
If you feel you need more time, talk to us — we’ll do our best to be flexible.
Holiday continues to accrue during paid bereavement leave.
